Ma Bell’s Recipes are always
packed full of southern spices and seasonings blended in the traditional
southern way. Her recipes represent a style of cooking from the old
south that have almost been lost in our fast food, microwave cooking
lifestyles. It has been said that music is the easiest way to transport you back in time. We challenge that. We’ve found another enjoyable way to transport you back to your Great Grandmother’s kitchen…just in time for dessert. You’re invited to sit down and have a slice of Ma Bell’s Sweet Tater Bread Puddin’. It’s great for parties, gifts and gift baskets, dessert, breakfast or just a way to say, “I love you”.
Sweet Tater Bread Puddin’ was created when Grandmother Bell’s children expressed a love for her sweet potato pie but didn’t really care for the crust. She grew tired of finding saucers in the kitchen with the pie crust scraped clean of the pie filling. She put wooden spoon to metal bowl and developed the perfect blending of sweet taters, bread and her history of special seasonings. To this date, she never found a person that didn’t absolutely love it. |
